Chelsea joined the Lift Legal team after working in downtown Edmonton for years. Chelsea remarks that the transition to Lift Legal has been nothing but a positive and reassuring one. She has this to say about her decision to join Lift Legal:

  • Chelsea assists with all manner of corporate law matters including incorporations, revivals, dissolutions, reorganizations, name changes, drafting contracts and agreements, amending Articles and general corporate maintenance.
  • Chelsea is a certified Microsoft Suite expert and prides herself on using and finding new ways to use technology to provide clients with more accessibility to their files.

  • Chelsea obtained her diploma in paralegal studies in 2014 and her Bachelor of Arts with a major in History in 2021.

  • Chelsea is a registered paralegal with the Alberta Association of Professional Paralegals.
  • Chelsea has worked in both small and big law firms in Grande Prairie and Edmonton. She understands the nuances of tightly knit communities as well as the fast-paced nature of downtown firms, which allows her to connect with her clients and provide them with excellent service.
  • Chelsea also works as a third-party contract historical researcher for the National Truth and Reconciliation Project. This allows Chelsea to merge her love of paralegal work with her passion for history and reconciliation to make a difference.

Personal Background

Chelsea is a lifelong learner who always strives to explore new things. She was born and raised in Quebec before moving to Alberta in 2004 and is fluent in French. She adamantly believes in treating people with kindness and hopes to leave those around her with positive experiences.

When she’s not at Lift Legal, you can find Chelsea reading, crafting, and desperately trying to keep her toddler entertained while drinking a copious amount of coffee.
